What's Happening

1. Had fun with the family this past weekend: waterfights, shopping and hanging out.

2. Jordan went back to school this week. He's taking 2 three week classes. What a trooper!

3. I really thought David Archuleta would win, but I'm not too sad that David Cook did! His voice is fantastic!

Wouldn't it be nice this finals week if we had:

1. Daily Massages
2. A hired chef to do all the cooking
3. A maid to make sure the house stays livable
4. Healthy Snacks
5. Four Little Words to keep us going: Only 3 More Days!

New Nickname

Funny Story: Today I went to get John from his room when he woke up from a nap. As I was changing his diaper I said "Jordan's downstairs playing the Wii" and he said "Uncle Beat Down? Wii?" So its offical: Jordan is no longer "Uncle Torture" he's now "Uncle Beat Down".

Want To Know Something Amazing?

Amazing Things:
#1: How does anyone get pregnant? Here's some stats:

  • The egg has to be in a certain 1/3 of the fallopian tube to be fertilized. Not sooner, not later.
  • The egg is maximally fertilizable for 8-12hrs, but fertile up to 24hrs. What if your @ work?
  • Sperm have a LONG journey and really its lucky if any make it. That's why 300-500 million are made per day.

**FYI: I'm tutoring this information at school right now, so I thought I'd share :)

#2: David Archuleta.....and yes he will win American Idol. Has he ever been in the bottom 2? And yes, he is mormon. :) Maybe he's trying to make money for a future mission?

#3: Costco Fruit. Strawberries, Oranges, Mangoes Oh My!

#4: Jordan. Enough said.

Cinco De Mayo

In the spirit of Cinco De Mayo, here are Cinco things that we want to do this summer:
  1. Take a trip to Los Angeles to visit Casi & Pedro and see her new job! We miss you Casi! We're constantly looking for airfare.
  2. Fly back east to see Joni & David and their new little baby! Hopefully sometime in August we can get back there.
  3. Go home to see our families in July??
  4. Attend a Boise Burn game with PJ & TiAnn.
  5. Climb Camel's Back at least 5 times with the Hughetts :)

NASCAR, Big Brown and $3000!

Exciting Times:
1. We both received scholarships for the next year of school! Jordan's was $3000! Finally his fantastic grades have turned into cash! :)
2. I got an internship in the fall with the Health Wellness and Counseling Services. Pretty much I am going to be doing health research at BSU. I'm really excited!
3. The weather has been BEAUTIFUL and WARM! Went to the park today with Marissa & John. We still arn't too big to play on the slides. :)
4. Watched the Kentucky Derby today and "Big Brown" AKA UPS's horse won! Jordan was mighty proud to be an employee today. I think that "Big Brown" should be their new mascot on the commercials, instead of that long haired guy who likes to draw.
5. Drove a NASCAR simulator yesterday. Jordan thinks he may be "called up" one day to be an alternate driver. (Maybe even for UPS?)
